Week 11 – MKMMA Sugar or not to Sugar
Driving my car down the street after my dentist appointment, I am thinking, it’s after my appointment and I always stop at Yum Yum Donuts to celebrate having made it through another dental experience. I do love my dentist – she’s gentle and most important she’s painless. Anyway, I’m thinking of all of the possible donuts I can eat. They have luscious cinnamon twists, gooey chocolate covered donuts, melt in your mouth apple fritters, and many other sweet treats. The sweet smell of sugar and hot oil cooking dough has my mouth water. I couldn’t decide. The anticipation was excruciating.
I pull up to the light rail track to wait for the train to pass when I look up and see lots of blinking little round red lights saying, “Your personal pivotal need is True Health. You are going to weight 200lbs by 7/1/16.” I look away and sigh. The sweet taste of apple fritter I’ve been thinking about for many blocks about slowly fades. I look back at the small red blinking lights and again I hear. “Your personal pivotal need is True Health. You are going to weight 200lbs by 7/1/16.” My eagerness to have a sugar experience dwindles to nothingness.
I drove past Yum Yum Donuts with my peptides saying yes, you can do it. MKMMA WORKS!
